Day after day…..sunshine…..temperatures in the seventies…..maybe a little cloud cover late in the day to help offset too much sun. What could be better? I mean we have it just as I could have dreamt it back when retirement was just a mental thought. But to make matters even better??????
Yes!!!!! Our dear friends on Crossroads….Barry and Robin have entered the harbor at Williams Cay and life is good. We were surprised to see them in George Town before our departure but were able to grab a quick lunch and do some grocery shopping together. We headed to Williams Cay to get away from George Town while we wait on our guests to arrive the end of the month. Barry and Robin have actually decided to continue their trip back up the Exuma chain of islands as they hustled to get to George Town early on and missed a bit of what they intended to visit. So we are happy to see them once again as well as Wayne and Betty Romberg who own a Caliber 47, Bright Ayes. Life is good!
And I almost feel I need to recant my last post as we have both been so busy today with boat projects I cannot imagine I ever said we weren’t. LOL Today we started with laundry. Yes we now have a washer/dryer unit so we did a load of towels, then followed that by cleaning the master shower sump and bilge, replacing the sliding door strip that had broken and preparing our pill packets for the next three weeks. We followed that with lunch and then had one of the longest rain showers we have experienced since being here. It may have lasted off and on about thirty minutes. No rainbow yet so while I still search for that pot of gold to help pay for our diesel for our trip home, I will check on my Go Fund Me page to see if any donations have come in.
Good Luck & Enjoy your trip
Thanks Bill!
