Eighteen years ago we wed on the 27th of March and it has been a ride! We have had some really great times and look forward to many more to come.
Where do you go to celebrate such an occasion when you are in the Bahamas? Certainly the opportunity to be here is like a celebration within itself, but there must be somewhere to go to enjoy a
“Date Night”.
After a little research, it was apparent that the best venue for us at night on Stocking Island would be the Kahari Resort. We made reservations for 6 and got all dressed up and meandered in a little early for a cocktail before dinner.
We ordered a bottle of Louis Latour Macon-Lugny Les Genievres and followed that with some delicious calamari.
Next would come the main course and I don’t know why we did not take pictures, but Greg had a lobster dish and I had a chicken dish. Both dishes were spectacular and presented so beautifully. The next course I did get pictures and their presentation was also amazing…..a deconstructed lemon meringue pie and a chocolate mousse. What a meal……what a nice evening! Kahari will be my go to in the years to come for that special meal or any special occasion we want to celebrate.
