I would never have imagined that we would still be enjoying the blue waters of the Bahamas in 2024, but we are loaded up and ready to head south and then east.
To say Jaxon and Cooper are excited would be a stretch as they have both enjoyed their time at home. Jaxon is our “couch potato” but such a sweetheart! Cooper lives to chase the squirrels and at times we would describe him as squirrelly. But…. we are taking them back again this year to run the beaches and taunt the hermit crabs.
We have provisioned for a total of nine guests this year and hope that everyone makes it and enjoys the comfort and the food aboard Paradigm Shift.
So with low tide and ice on the creek, Paradigm Shift found her way out of her slip and into deeper waters. We are off and on our way! The only issue we had was that the system that brings our electrical cord in (Glendinning) kept blowing a fuse because (much like me), it was not happy with the cold temps and the early hour. Despite that, it was an uneventful departure.
Hoping to hit Wrightsville Beach or Charleston for our next stop!
