It has been a while since we last posted of our adventures and we have moved to a few new spots. The Land and Sea Park is always a favorite and we got to enjoy some time snorkeling inside the park as the wind and currents would slack for a bit. The rangers station will always remain a favorite of mine as I remember it so fondly from our first year here and the comfort the staff brought to a large group of cruisers.

We sat out at Emerald Rock and were entertained each day by what seemed to be the same lovely shark. He would come a little earlier than the posted warning time of 1600 hours, but we did not care, we were not jumping in for sure. Cooper was our only concern as he has no fear.

We spent a few days making lunches and packing them for a picnic on the beach after a bit of snorkeling or exploration. We have about four or five boats in our flotilla: No Limits, Believe, Jenna Bird, Floater and us. Two monohulled sailboats, one catamaran and two trawlers. We make quite a good mix!

The boys are ready for their trip as always. There are times they have to wait and go after we get back from a long run of exploring, but most days they go into town with us and are eager to bark at the roosters or cats and other four legged friends/foes. We explored Rachels baths and the Rocky Dundas and ended with a move to Blackpoint.

Blackpoint is where we would catch up with Chuck and Stuart Taylor from Deltaville (home for us) and some other cruising friends we have become great friends with at our beloved Scorpios. Scorpios is known for their rum punch happy hour….two for the price of one and free popcorn. Of course we cannot say no to their conch fritters, coconut shrimp or wings that are offered as well. It quickly becomes dinner for the night as you need to eat to offset that alcohol you are consuming. What a night! Lots of fun and now on to boat projects and making a plan for the coming week……after a nap in my hammock.

Go Eagles!
