Morning wake up at 6 o’clock and both of the boys are ready to get outside and stretch their legs before their morning meal. Most of their day is spent resting up for the next ten minute jaunt outside or moments to pounce on one another. I find myself thinking Cooper is the aggressor and I will call his name to stop what sounds like an argument getting ready to turn south only to find the aggressor is Jaxon. Cooper dawns his new sweater feeling mighty good about himself as he snuggles in for his morning nap.
Our day was a long one as we were crossed the Ablemarle Sound, through the Alligator River Bridge and down the Pungo Canal to Bellhaven. We got about fifty miles behind us as we anchored outside of Bellhaven in the Pungo Creek. The boys were on watch all day with the Captain keeping him straight and when something was “wrong” or not just right, they would come let me know.
We are settled in enjoying a few moments of the ambiance of the area and then heading in for a night of dinner, chores and planning for tomorrow.
Great to see you back at it again, look forward to the new season and the adventure that is about to unfold. If you remember a friend of Dagny, Jazzy lady and Aperish.
So great to hear from you! Hope all are well!
